I feel like a kid again. Thanks to Ann Schatz’ invitation, I attended the launch of her new program, “Heart of the Matter” with a small group of invited guests to listen to and participate in an interview with Gloria Steinem. I felt like a groupie meeting a star of the Twilight film saga. I’ve admired Steinem for years.

It was wonderful to meet her. She was gracious enough to accept a copy of my book, “Gothic Spring” which deals with women trying to find themselves in a repressive Victorian society. I’ll have more to say about meeting Steinem in an upcoming blog post, but Ann: All the best on your new program. You’re a terrific interviewer. You and Gloria made my day.
